Stop Elephant Stop 

We all love our new story, even though we do get a little bit wet! We all had a turn of telling the story and using the props! 

Summer One! 

Can you believe we have reach the summer term already! 

We have lots of exciting things fit into the short half term; going to the farm, having some animals visiting and working with Vicky who runs the garden at RHS West. 

This half term our Topic is Down on the Farm and we will be reading The Very Bust Spider during our English Lesson. 

Let's have another great half term :) 

Toucan Class have enjoyed going on a monster hunt to find the red and blue monster. 

We can't wait to see where the other are hiding!

Spotty Fun for Children in Need

Autumn 2 Update

We have had a busy start to the term. We have been learning about lots if different festivals. We have created pumpkins  and bat hats for Halloween, poppies for remembrance day and diva lamps for Diwali. We love getting creative and messy. 

P.E

P.E is one of our favourite sessions. Maisy is teaching us all about gymnastics this half term focusing on balancing and rolling. We loved using Maisy's special big tunnel, we had lots of fun climbing though it and sitting in it with our friends. 

Autumn 1

Hello again, 

We are all settling in to Toucan Class and have made good friends. We know our routines and enjoy taking part in lots of fun activities both inside and outside the classroom. 

Our story of Silly Suzy Goose in something we all really enjoy. We love pretending to be the different characters and copying all the actions! We turned into explores, going on an animal hunt to find all of Suzy Goose's friends! 

Hello and Welcome to Toucan Class

Let me introduce our class team. I am Rachel the Class teacher, I will be working with Hannah my TA2 and  Lisa, Josie and Becky our teaching assistants. 

The pupils in Toucan class are; Ayesha, George, Hussain, Mo, Diyon, Dilraj, D'shaun and D'Mari. 

During Autumn 1, Toucan Class are looking forward to learning the school routines and making relationships with our new friends and teachers. 

Topic 

This half term our topic is All About Me, children will be taking part in activities around themselves, their friends, their body and their senses. 

English 

Our story this half term is Silly Suzy Goose. This is fun story about a Goose who wants to have a go at doing the things her friends do. We will be jumping like kangaroos, stretching like giraffes and roaring like lions. We will be getting to know all the different characters while we learn the story. 

Maths 

Maths is split up into 3 area; number, geometry and measurement. Please check the homeschool books for updates about what if being covered each week. 

This will be a fantastic year in Toucan Class!
