Welcome Back
Hello and welcome back to school after a really long break. My name is Hollie and I am the class teacher Budgie class this year. We have one TA 3 who is Sharon and three TA's Sam, Seren and Vicky. There are 4 boys and 3 girl in Budgie class and they are settling in well. Our topic this half term is 'All about me' as set out in our recovery curriculum to support the children settling back into school life. We will be exploring a variety of topics such as hygiene, our bodies and faces, emotions, our senses, physical and building relationships. This is outlined briefly in our curriculum map. This week we have been focusing on hygiene and the importance of washing our hands and teeth.
We have two books this half term. For the first 4 weeks we will be exploring The Very Hungry Caterpillar and learning a little about the lifecycle of a caterpillar. The next 4 weeks we will be exploring Silly Suzy Goose and learning about the different animals within the story.
