Richmond Hill is a school for primary aged pupils with severe and complex difficulties which include those on the autism spectrum. We currently have 112 pupils on roll, grouped into 14 classes at our West Site, Sunridge Avenue, LU2 7JL.
We have vacancies for Cleaners to work Monday to Friday from 3.30pm to 6.00pm (12.5 hours per week)
The role would consist of cleaning classrooms, toilets & other areas to a high standard within health & safety regulations.

Teachers are very well supported in the classrooms by a high ratio of teaching assistants & specialist teaching assistants for, PE, ICT, Gardening, Intensive Interaction.
Our Family Workers are the link and liaison between Families, Social Services, & Health Agencies, this enables teachers to focus on teaching. She also facilitates family training and informal meetings.
We have a lodge on the grounds which is the designated room for Teacher’s PPA time.
It is also used for small group meetings and staff training.
Refreshments are provided for staff in the well-equipped, spacious new staff room.
We have two 1 hour staff meetings each week with termly planned topics linked to the School Development Plan, moderation & assessment and year group planning meetings.
Each member of staff has a personal Gmail address for internal use and sharing documentation.
Each class is very well resourced with up to date ICT; Interactive touch screens, touch-enabled PCs, iPads & cameras for each class and a team of excellent ICT technical support.
We have a support package that any staff can access for things such as; financial advice, counselling.
Staff are encouraged to be innovative and to try new ideas and approaches, to have fun and to be creative. There is an ethos of colleague support for one another and staff are proud to work at Richmond Hill School.
