Welcome to Opal Class and to Year 7!
You'll be able to spot us by our green t-shirts and by just how big and grown up we are!
In Opal class we have seven lovely children and four lovely adults and we are very excited to be back at school.
Please remember that for now we are not doing home-school books so if you need us please email the class email address or ring the school.

...And just like that it is the summer term! Despite a snowy(!) start we are here and ready get going with the summer term. We are hoping to have some more normality at school and at home as restrictions ease.

Spring 2 - Back to School!
We are very excited to all be back at school together!
The children did fantastically well coping with remote learning and our families were AMAZING, supporting every single day.
We are going to be focussing on rebuilding our routines, learning to cope with being back at school and lots of PSHE work now that we are back.
We will be looking at "Oi Frog!" in english and learning about rhyming, we will be working on our using and applying skills in maths and our topic is "Art Attack!" which gives us lots of opportunities to have fun and be creative!
We worked together to make our own Big Art! Just like the original by Van Gogh!

Spring 1 and 2 - Remote Learning
We have made the switch to remote learning to support our lovely year sevens while we are under lockdown. You have all been amazing in accessing our live streamed sessions through the website and our class lessons through google meets. Thank you parents for your continued support and patience and for your willingness to try new things. We are all learning this as we go but we couldn't do it without our children and families.
Remember to keep taking part in the live sessions on the website -
And following the invites in your emails to our daily sessions for english, maths and communication.
