Welcome to the webpage for Gold Class.
My name is David and I am the Class Teacher. Alongside me this year I have Mandy as my TA2 and Tina and Alice as our Teaching Assistants.
This half term our topic is 'Let's Go Wild'. We will be exploring different types of animals (commonly found in zoos) from around the world and look at the different climates and environments they inhabit. We will also be looking at the differences between our climate in Luton and other parts of the UK and the world.
In English we will be reading The Gruffalo which links in nicely with 'Let's Go Wild'. We will also be doing a class poem each week and reading a lot of non-fiction linked to our topic.
In Maths we will be starting the half term with Number work and then progressing onto shape. As always it will be a fun filled, jam packed year and this first half term is no exception with Swimming at Inspire and a trip booked to Whipsnade Zoo.
Alongside our core subjects we have a lot of creative opportunities in Gold Class including weekly Karaoke, Music and Expressive Arts.
