Welcome Back

Hello and welcome back to another school year.  My name is Angela and I am the class teacher in Robin class. Sophie is our TA3 and Natalie, Charlene and Shareen are our class teaching assistants. The pupils in Robin class are Nnaemeka, Salome, Oscar, Ronnie, Mo, Sonny, Grace and Dominic.

The pupils in Robin class are following the Roots pathway curriculum where we will have a big emphasis on communication, learning to learn skills and independence.

We have had a good start to the new school year and all children have settled very quickly into the class routine.

Our topic this half term is ‘All about me’. Each week we will explore a different topic including hygiene, my body, my senses and my emotions. This is outlined briefly in our curriculum map. This week we have been getting to know our  friends and the new classroom expectations.

Our English book this half term is ‘the very hungry caterpillar’. We have already started to learn the different foods that the greedy caterpillar eats in the story!

Unfortunately we are not able to use the home/school books at this time, so I will be contacting you via email. Please ensure I have your recent email address and that you are receiving my emails. My class email address is robin@richmondhill.luton.sch.uk.

Please keep looking at our class page for all the exciting things we are going to be learning about!
