Summer 1
Goldilocks and the Three Bears
We are all really enjoying our class story this half term. We have been retelling the story using lots of different props. Take a look at the picture below.
Odd Sock Day!
In order to take part in anti-bullying week, we had odd sock day. We created our own odd socks, had a go and pairing odd socks up and used stamped to print lots of patterns. We all had lots of fun.
Poppies
On remembrance day we worked together to create a big poppy. We then followed instructions to make our own individualised poppy. We put them all together to make a beautiful class display.
Fireworks!
We have had lots of fun learning about fireworks and colour over the past few weeks.
We have created some lovely art work through flicking paint at paper, using salad spinners and getting messy with shaving foam.
Take a look at some of the pictures below.

Welcome Back
Welcome to Purple Class Just a quick note to say what a fantastic first day we have had in Purple class. We all enjoyed lots of fun sessions including maths, English and attention skills. Purple class is made up for six children and four adults; Myself ( Rachel), Fareeha (TA3), Nazira and Simon. Purple class are following Richmond Hill’s roots pathway, this means we will be focusing on communication, independence and learning to learn. As well as this we will be taking part in cooking, computing, expressive arts, PE, maths and English. Unfortunately we are not able to use home schoolbooks at the moment in time. As an alternative I will be contacting you via email. Please use the email address purple@richmondhill.luton.sch.uk, just as you would the home/school book. I look forward to working with your child this year and I am excited to see what it is going to bring.
Rachel :)
