Summer 2
Summer 2 Update
We have had a busy week with Sports day and a trip to Woodlands school. F has joined Silver class and she has become good friends with V. All pupils did very well in their Sports day races and enjoyed getting wet at the end, especially J!!
We cant believe that the Year 6 pupils time at RHS is nearly over but they were very happy on the trip to Woodlands, enjoying spending time in their new classrooms with their teachers and exploring the playground. We will miss them!

Autumn 2 So Far...Again!
This half term we have been cooking pasta dishes, which has involved specific skills to learn. We have been draining pasta, opening tins and stirring sauces on the hob. A lot of work has been done on being safe in the kitchen as we have been using sharp utensils eg tin openers. Pupils were also made aware that the water was HOT and the sauce was HOT!
We enjoyed our walk at Ashridge and we were lucky that it was a lovely sunny morning! Unfortunately all the deer were hiding but we hope to see reindeer at Poplars Garden centre on Monday!
Autumn 2 So Far
We have been very busy in English, Science and topic work already this half term. In English we have been reading the Traditional tale of Snow White and pretending to be the bad Queen by looking in the mirror and saying "Mirror mirror on the wall, Who is the fairest of them all!". We hope to go to see the Snow white pantomime soon.
Also we have been making foil boats for a floating and sinking activity. We counted to see how many pennies we could put in our boat before it sank.
In topic last week, we collected some mini beasts to look at. They were moving around on the tray and eating. We have also been finding out about hedgehogs, squirrels, foxes and badgers.

Silver Class Update
This week we have been very energetic as part of our topic "Fit as a fiddle".
We pretended to do weight lifting exercises in assembly on Tuesday! Then in the afternoon we played football in the playground with some Luton Town FC players.
On Wednesday some of us participated in a dance workshop with a visiting dance teacher. Then in the afternoon we had our weekly PE session with John. He is very impressed with our quoit hockey skills and all pupils in Silver class are able to move the quoit in and out of the cones and shoot into the goal!
Our Pre Kingswood Document!
Welcome to Silver class
We have 6 children with 4 adults: Sheila (teacher), Linda (TA2), Lorraine (TA) and Owen (TA). We have been for regular walks this week as we want to keep “Fit as a fiddle”-our topic this term! We have also enjoyed our first PE session playing hockey with a quoit and expressive arts session copying a street dance routine! In Maths we have been counting dots on dominoes and counting coins, as we are going to be learning how to join 2 amounts together. We have also completed our entries for the Creativity matters competition and drawn portraits of the adults in class. James has been voted in as our class council voice! We look forward to showing you photos of our activities over the year.
