This half term our gardener Vikki has been growing peas with the children. These are being grown in recycled plastic cups from the staff room and empty toilet rolls from the staff toilets. This helps us to maintain our eco schools targets, making us eco-friendly! The pea seeds are grown inside the toilet rolls so that when they are planted, their roots are not disturbed, because the peas don’t like this! Not only are the peas healthy, they taste great!
Other breaking news this week following the making of bird feeders some of the children spotted a very rare long tailed tit feeding in the playground!!!
