• Silver Class Rolling Video

  Yesterday Silver Class went to the park, dressed as superheroes to do some rolling. You can see from the video Achlan made on Richmond Hill TV how much fun they had. 

   

  And as for Sarah? it looks like she was having fun all on her own!

• Sports Day Practise

  Just walked past the field and Diamond Class in years 3&4 are taking winning at the sports day very seriously. They are currently hurdling as I type.

• Eco Day last Friday

  Last Friday we had a big switch off in school. We didn't turn any lights on or use any computers in the hope that we could reduce some of the energy the school uses.

• What we did this week

  Fri 13 Jun 2014

  On Monday the Superhero video had it's premiere. If you haven't seen it, you can see it here 

   

  On Tuesday we had an internal resource searcher made for us. This will mean when it is up and running things on the computers will be found much quicker and easier. 

   

  On Wednesday there was a 'Kids Out' trip for some pupils in year 6. You can see some photos of the day on our trips and outings page here

   

  On Thursday years 5&6 has a fun fair afternoon, the weather was fantastic and we managed to raise just over £100. Thank you to all the families and friends who came to support us. You can see some photos on our , Celebration and Special days page here

   

  On Friday we had a football themed day to celebrate the start of the World Cup in Brazil. This led to 120 pupils and a 120 footballs having a good kick about! You can see some photos on our , Celebration and Special days page here

   

  Also on Friday we had a lollipop person come into work with years 5&6 on road safety as part of their PSHE work.

• Superhero video - ft. Tom and Aiden

  For year 5 and 6's topic this half term, Tom has written and composed a Superhero song. 

   

  Tom and Aiden performed the song while Achlan recorded it and made it into a fantastic video. You can watch it here.

• Busy week ahead

  We have lots to look forward to this week. 

   

  On Wednesday there is Kids Out for some pupils in year 6.

   

  On Thursday years 5&6 are having a fun fair afternoon, hoping to raise money for an end of term trip.

   

  On Friday we will be having a football themed day culminating with 120 pupils with 120 footballs.

   

  Also on Friday afternoon we have a lollipop person coming to work with years 5&6 on road safety. They will be using our cycle track as the road while they practise.

  We're into the start of summer 2 now and as always we have a lot planned for the next 7 weeks.

   

  Topics this half term will be

   

  years 1&2 'Splish, Splosh, Splash', 

  years 3&4 it is 'Different places. different lives...' and in 

  years 5&6 a Superhero themed 'Moving and Changing'
