Putting RHS East On The Map
Mon 10 Oct 2016Google Maps has finally accepted our request to literally put RHS East on the map. We are now official.

RHS East Classes get new names!
Mon 10 Oct 2016When RHS East opened in September we called the classes, Class 1, Class 2 etc. Today it's been announced that the classes will be renamed after birds. A sneak preview of the list has birds such as toucans, flamingos and canaries.
When we have the official list of which class has chosen which bird name we will update you.

Scarecrow Competition Winners
Mon 10 Oct 2016The first job of the School Council Voice was to judge the annual scarecrow competition. This years entries were quite an exotic selection and made for some tricky scoring.
The winners were, Red Class, Emerald Class and Opal Class. All scarecrows made will be given a space in the garden to keep the birds away.

RHS West Out and About
Wed 05 Oct 2016Years 5&6 went to Jump Arena in town this morning and had a great time.They bounced and bounced and still had the energy to walk back up the hill to school!
Year 4 classes went to town to take some things they donated to the local charity shops and then stopped off for lunch at McDonald's.
Some year 3 classes went to St Albans park to try out the gym equipment there. Having had a sneaky peak at their photos they looked to have had a good day.

Class 3 - Getting Arty
Tue 04 Oct 2016Class 3 have been painting with some unusual things. They've used spatulas, mashers and spaghetti in a bundle.

Green class - Maths
Tue 04 Oct 2016Green class have been getting stuck in to some shape work during maths lessons this week.
They have been focusing on circles around the school as well as matching and sorting shapes.
